Ενωσιακών Πόρων και Υποδομών κ. Δημήτρη Παπαγιαννίδη, του κυβερνητικού εκπροσώπου κ.
Ιωάννη Οικονόμου και του Υπουργού Οικονομικών κ. Σταϊκούρα, πραγματοποιήθηκε η εκδήλωση:
«30 χρόνια LEADER – Το παρόν και το μέλλον». Την εκδήλωση συνδιοργάνωσε το Ελληνικό
Δίκτυο Ομάδων Τοπικής Δράσης και το Ελληνικό Αγροτικό Δίκτυο (ead.gr) του Υπουργείου
Αγροτικής Ανάπτυξης και Τροφίμων. Την πρώτη μέρα της εκδήλωσης εξετάσθηκε η πορεία
υλοποίησης των προγραμμάτων και το ποσοστό επίτευξης των στόχων που είχαν τεθεί στην αρχή
της χρονιάς. Παρόλες τις αντιξοότητες, η ΑΝΔΩ κατάφερε να πετύχει τους στόχους των
εντάξεων και των απορροφήσεων που είχαν τεθεί για το έτος, γεγονός που σχολιάσθηκε θετικά
από τα αρμόδια στελέχη του Υπουργείου Αγροτικής Ανάπτυξης και Τροφίμων. Τη δεύτερη μέρα,
παρουσιάσθηκαν ανά περιφέρεια τα επιτεύγματα των προγραμμάτων LEADER στις περιοχές της
υπαίθρου και στα νησιά της Ελλάδας. Την παρουσίαση για το Νότιο Αιγαίο, ανέλαβε ο
Διευθυντής της ΑΝΔΩ κ. Κων/νος Ζήφος, ο οποίος ανέλυσε τη σημαντική συμβολή του
προγράμματος στις μικροοικονομίες των νησιών μας. Έργα χαμηλού προϋπολογισμού,
επενδύσεις στη μεταποίηση αγροτικής παραγωγής, μικρά έργα στον πολιτισμό, βελτιώνουν την
ποιότητα ζωής των κατοίκων των μικρών νησιών, δημιουργούν νέες θέσεις εργασίας και
συμβάλουν στη συγκράτηση των οικογενειών στα μικρά νησιά. Αυτό προκύπτει από οικονομικά
και στατιστικά στοιχεία που παρουσιάσθηκαν, αλλά κυρίως από τις «ιστορίες επιτυχίας»
δικαιούχων προηγούμενων εφαρμογών του LEADER. Δεν πρέπει να ξεχνάμε «εμβληματικές
επενδύσεις» στα νησιά μας, όπως είναι τα οινοποιεία στους Λειψούς, στην Πάτμο, οι
αποκαταστάσεις μνημείων αγροτικής κληρονομιάς στα χωριά και στα νησιά μας (π.χ. μάγγανο
Λαχανιάς, μύλος στην Όλυμπο), το τυροκομείο στην Κάλυμνο ή και οι υπό κατασκευή μονάδες
παραγωγής ξυδιού και χυμού ροδιού στη Ρόδο, το πρώτο οινοποιείο στην Κάρπαθο και άλλα
πολλά τα οποία υλοποιήθηκαν με τη βοήθεια της ΑΝΔΩ και του προγράμματος LEADER.
Η πολύ καλή παρουσία της ΑΝΔΩ όλα τα χρόνια υλοποίησης του προγράμματος, οφείλεται στην
άριστη συνεργασία μεταξύ των μετόχων, του διοικητικού συμβουλίου και των στελεχών της
εταιρείας. Δεν είναι τυχαίο ότι η εταιρεία σε τοπικό επίπεδο έχει καθιερωθεί ως «τοπόσημο
ενημέρωσης» για τα ευρωπαϊκά προγράμματα, ενώ σε εθνικό αποτελεί ισότιμο συνομιλητή και
συνδιαμορφωτή των πολιτικών της υπαίθρου και των νησιών μας.
