Εντυπωσίασε και φέτος παρά την πανδημία η παρουσία της Περιφέρειας Νοτίου Αιγαίου
στο ΣΕΦ, στο Φεστιβάλ μελιού.
Ο Αντιπεριφερειάρχης Φιλήμονας Ζαννετίδης ως πρόεδρος της οργανωτικής επιτροπής
παρουσίασε το Φεστιβάλ στα ΜΜΕ που όλα σχεδόν το ανέδειξαν. Παράλληλα
πραγματοποιήθηκε το ετήσιο συνέδριο της Ελληνικής Μελισσοκομίας διαδικτυακά στο
οποίο ο Αντιπεριφερειάρχης απηύθυνε χαιρετισμό ενώπιον του Υπουργού Αγροτικής
Ανάπτυξης και τροφίμων Σπήλιου Λιβανού των Υφυπουργών Σίμου Κεδίκογλου και Γιώργου
Αμυρά, αντιπεριφερειαρχών άλλων περιφερειών που συμμετείχαν και παραγόντων της
Ελληνικής Μελισσοκομίας.
Δεν έλειψαν οι γαστρονομικές λιχουδιές με μέλι που ετοίμαζαν εκείνη την ώρα οι σεφ υπό
τον Θωμά Λαζανά, όπως δεν έλειψε και ο διαγωνισμός για την καλύτερη ποιότητα μελιού.
Στο φετινό φεστιβάλ που έγινε υπό την σκιά της πανδημίας δεν συμμετείχαν παραγωγοί
ούτε γινόντουσαν πωλήσεις. Οι εμβολιασμένοι επισκέπτες που προσήλθαν είχαν την
ευκαιρία να απολαύσουν και να δοκιμάσουν από τα δείγματα που απέστειλαν οι
μελισσοκόμοι των νησιών μας και τις υπέροχες λιχουδιές που ετοίμαζαν οι σεφ που ήταν σε
όλη την διάρκεια του φεστιβάλ παρόντες.
Τα αποτελέσματα του διαγωνισμού για την ποιότητα του μελιού θα ανακοινωθούν τις
προσεχείς ημέρες, όταν ολοκληρωθούν οι απαραίτητες αναλύσεις από το Αριστοτέλειο
Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλονίκης, στο οποίο έχουν σταλεί.
