Με μια ξαφνική σημερινή του απόφαση ο δήμαρχος Ρόδου Αντώνης Καμπουράκης έπαυσε από τα καθήκοντά του τον μέχρι σήμερα πρόεδρο της ΔΕΥΑΡ Γιάννη Καμπούρη. Την προεδρία της ανέλαβε πλέον ο ίδιος ο δήμαρχος μιας και είχε φανεί οτι η επικοινωνία του αντιδημάρχου διοικητικών Γιάννη Καμπούρη και διοικητικών υπαλλήλων αλλά και μελών του διοικητικού συμβουλίου ήταν προβληματική. Η απόφαση να μπει μπροστά ο Αντώνης Καμπουράκης στην ΔΕΥΑΡ δείχνει ότι η νέα προγραμματική σύμβαση που υπογράφτηκε για την δεύτερη φάση για το φράγμα του Γαδουρά θα κυλήσει με εντατικούς ρυθμούς και με τον πλήρη έλεγχο από τον Αντώνη Καμπουράκη. Ωστόσο περιμένουμε να δούμε και την αντίδραση του Γιάννη Καμπούρη μιας και αυτή η απόφαση ήταν οριστικά η ρήξη μεταξύ των δύο ανδρών. Πληροφορίες αναφέρουν οτι το γυαλί έσπασε με κάποιες δηλώσεις του Γιάννη Καμπούρη που μάλλον δεν άρεσαν στον δήμαρχο Ρόδου περί φιλοδοξιών για την δημαρχία . Η υπόθεση έχει πολύ “ζουμί” στην συνέχεια κάτι που δεν θα αργήσει να φανεί.
Δημοσιεύθηκε στην Διαύγεια η απόφαση του Δημάρχου Αντώνη Καμπουράκη να αναλάβει ο ίδιος τα ηνία της ΔΕΥΑΡ.
