Είναι πολύ ελκυστικές οι ταινίες με θέμα το success story. Πουλάνε εισιτήρια και τις παρακολουθεί
εύκολα ολόκληρη η οικογένεια στον καναπέ του σπιτιού, τρώγοντας πατατάκια. Μην ξεχνάτε, όμως, ότι
κάποιος επέλεξε το σενάριο, μοίρασε τους ρόλους και πραγματοποίησε τη σκηνοθεσία. Το δικό μας
success story του Rhodes Co-Lab, έχει μια ιδιαιτερότητα. Είναι διαδραστικό. Καθώς το παρακολουθεί η
οικογένεια, «εκσυγχρονίζεται» το καθιστικό της, μεγαλώνουν οι μερίδες από τα πατατάκια τους και
προστίθενται νέες γεύσεις και μάρκες, αναβαθμίζεται το γεύμα με σάντουιτς και πίτσες, προσκαλούνται
φίλοι και γενικά, ανεβαίνει το επίπεδο παρακολούθησης της ταινίας. Το πιο όμορφο από όλα αυτά
είναι… ότι ο λογαριασμός είναι πληρωμένος από τον σεναριογράφο.
Αξίζει να υπογραμμιστεί ότι υπάρχουν δύο εντελώς διαφορετικά μονοπάτια πολιτικής. Το παλιό και
δοκιμασμένο το οποίο ακολουθεί τις εκάστοτε συνθήκες των καιρών και προσαρμόζεται σε αυτές, και
αυτό της Περιφερειακής Αρχής του Γιώργου Χατζημάρκου και της ομάδας του, το οποίο δημιουργεί τις
συνθήκες τις οποίες θα ακολουθήσουν οι άλλοι, αναμορφώνοντας το περιβάλλον προς όφελος των
πολιτών. Το πρώτο μονοπάτι είναι ασφαλές, γιατί δημιουργεί από μόνο του άλλοθι. Το δικό μας
εμπεριέχει την ικανοποίηση της δημιουργίας και το μεγάλο πλεονέκτημα της καινοτομίας. Πρώτοι
εμείς. Ειδικά με το Rhodes Co-Lab πρώτοι εμείς παγκοσμίως. Τελικά, τίποτα δεν είναι τυχαίο.
Με λίγα λόγια – γιατί δε χρειάζεται να μακρηγορούμε, εμείς προτιμάμε τα έργα – παρουσιάστηκε ένα
ολοκληρωμένο σχέδιο επένδυσης, το οποίο «αγγίζει» όλες τις πτυχές του τουρισμού. Ξεκινάει από την
εκπαίδευση και το περιβάλλον και καταλήγει στην πράσινη ενέργεια. Μία ολοκληρωμένη «διαδρομή»
με αρχή, μέση, τέλος! Χωρίς ανούσιες δικαιολογίες ή ημιτελή έργα… Οι λεπτομέρειες παρουσιάστηκαν
από τον Περιφερειάρχη. Αυτό που απαιτείται να τονιστεί είναι το γεγονός ότι, το Νότιο Αιγαίο
καθίσταται πλέον μοναδικός προορισμός. Το τρίπτυχο «ήλιος, θάλασσα και φιλοξενία» το συναντάμε
πλέον σε όλους τους οργανωμένους προορισμούς. Επομένως, ο ανταγωνισμός σχετίζεται μόνο με την
ποιότητα. Η διαφορετικότητα βγάζει από το «τσουβάλιασμα» των προορισμών την περιοχή μας. Δε
γίνεται να συγχέουμε τον ξεχωριστό προορισμό με όλους τους άλλους, για τον απλούστατο λόγο ότι
είναι μοναδικός! Ενισχύεται, έτσι, το ήδη υψηλό αποτύπωμα του Νοτίου Αιγαίου στο τουριστικό
περιβάλλον και το σημαντικότερο… αφήνουμε μια ισχυρή παρακαταθήκη για τις επόμενες γενιές.
Σκεφτείτε ότι μέχρι να πραγματοποιήσουν αυτά τα βήματα οι υπόλοιποι προορισμοί, εμείς θα είμαστε
πολύ mprosta. Όλα γίνονται για τη διατήρηση της πρωτιάς σε βάθος χρόνου, ώστε τα παιδιά μας να
ζήσουν καλύτερα. Η πρωτοκαθεδρία είναι ένα διαρκής αγώνας, αλλά το αποτέλεσμα σε δικαιώνει, ιδίως
τις νεότερες γενιές που επωμίζονται τα οφέλη, εκ του αποτελέσματος…
Στις μέρες μας, διαδεδομένος είναι ο όρος «Αειφορία», δηλαδή η διαχείριση των φυσικών
οικοσυστημάτων και των ανανεώσιμων φυσικών πόρων, με τρόπο που να εξασφαλίζεται η ανάπτυξη
της ανθρώπινης δραστηριότητας σε όλους τους τομείς, χωρίς δυσάρεστες επιπτώσεις στο περιβάλλον.
Με οικονομικούς όρους σημαίνει την αύξηση της παραγωγικότητας και του πραγματικού εισοδήματος
μιας περιοχής. Πολύ φιλόδοξος ορισμός. Ίσως και λίγο ουτοπικός. Διαθέτουμε, όμως, την εγγύηση δύο
κολοσσών-συνεργατών: της TUI και της CISCO. Το μεγάλο ερώτημα είναι γιατί επέλεξαν τη Ρόδο.
Προορισμοί στην Ισπανία, την Ιταλία, το Μαρόκο, στην υπόλοιπη Ελλάδα και αλλού, αναζητούσαν τη
συνεργασία μαζί τους. Η απάντηση είναι απλή και, συνάμα, εύκολη. Εμπιστοσύνη. Δίνουμε
καθημερινά τις εξετάσεις μας, περνάμε τις δοκιμασίες μας, για να απολαμβάνουμε την εμπιστοσύνη των
ισχυρών. Γιατί, δεν πρέπει να ξεχνάτε, ότι είναι μια περιζήτητη ευρωπαϊκή περιφέρεια το Νότιο Αιγαίο
μας. Και καθίσταται πρώτη, με τους ρυθμούς ανάπτυξης να καλπάζουν και να φαίνεται στην «τσέπη»
των νησιωτών. Επομένως, οι κόποι καρποφορούν και φέρουν την προσδοκώμενη οικονομική ανάπτυξη.
