Στην Περιφέρεια εναπόθεσαν τις ελπίδες τους για επίλυση των προβλημάτων τους οι αλιείς της
Περιφέρειας Νοτίου Αιγαίου αφού η κατάσταση στο Αιγαίο έχει ξεφύγει τελείως με τους Τούρκους
ψαράδες να μην τηρούν κανένα κανόνα και να ψαρεύουν στα χωρικά μας ύδατα. Σήμερα εκπρόσωποι
των αλιέων συναντήθηκαν με τον αντιπεριφερειάρχη Πρωτογενή Τομέα Φιλήμονα Ζαννετίδη θέλοντας
να του εκθέσουν τα μεγάλα προβλήματα που αντιμετωπίζουν. Η συνάντηση έγινε στην έδρα του
συλλόγου Παράκτιας Αλιείας Ρόδου, στην Κολώνα. Το παρόν έδωσαν το διοικητικό συμβούλιο του
Συλλόγου Παράκτιας Αλιείας Ρόδου, ο πρόεδρος του δ.σ. παράκτιας Αλιείας Κω Πέτρος
Παπασεβαστός, καθώς επίσης και ο εκπρόσωπος του συλλόγου των πελαγικών ψαριών Στάθης
Γεωργούλης, από την Κάλυμνο.
Τρία ήταν τα βασικά θέματα που ανέπτυξαν στον αντιπεριφερειάρχη και τα τρία σημαντικότατα για την
συνέχεια της εργασίας τους. Κυρίαρχο το θέμα με τους Τούρκους αλιείς οι οποίοι έχουν αποθρασυνθεί
και φθάνουν μέχρι τα παράλια των νησιών μας, καταπατώντας κάθε νόμο και ευρωπαϊκή οδηγία. Το
δεύτερο μεγάλο θέμα που απασχολεί τον κλάδο των αλιέων είναι το οικονομικό, θέμα που έχει
προκύψει από την συνεχιζόμενη αγοραστική μείωση των αλιευμάτων, την αδυναμία τακτοποίησης των
οφειλών προς δημόσιο και οργανισμούς και φυσικά από τα μέτρα κατά του κορωνοϊού.
Ένα άλλο πολύ σοβαρό θέμα που ανέπτυξαν στον κ. Ζαννετίδη ήταν ο αθέμιτος ανταγωνισμός με τους
ερασιτέχνες αλιείς, με αποτέλεσμα οι επαγγελματίες να μην βρίσκουν πρόθυμους αγοραστές και να
κινδυνεύουν με πλήρη οικονομική κατάρρευση.
Ο αντιπεριφερειάρχης άκουσε με προσοχή τους αλιείς και τους ανέφερε ότι τα θέματα που έθεσαν
αποτελούν και θέματα της Περιφέρειας η οποία συνεχώς καταβάλλει προσπάθειες για την επίλυση τους
με παρεμβάσεις στα αρμόδια υπουργεία.
