Την Κυριακή 13 Δεκεμβρίου ο Άλεξ Φαρρέλλ επιστρέφει στην ενεργό δράση για την πέμπτη κατά σειρά επαγγελματική του αναμέτρηση στην πυγμαχία.
Την ανακοίνωση την έκανε ο ίδιος ο αθλητής μέσα από τα social media του, επισημαίνοντας την πολύ μεγάλη κάρτα στην οποία αγωνίζεται καθώς και το γεγονός πως το ματς του θα έχει μετάδοση από το Canal+ .
Σύντομα θα ανακοινωθεί ο αντίπαλός του σε ένα πυγμαχικό show που έχει main event την αναμέτρηση των Arsen Goulamirian και Yury Kashinsky για τίτλο WBA στην super cruiserweight κατηγορία.
Ο Φαρρέλλ θυμίζουμε ως ερασιτέχνης έφτασε στην κορυφή στην Ελλάδα όντας αθλητής του ‘Rhodes Boxing Academy’ στην Ρόδο με προπονητές τους Μπάμπη Στατίου και Βασίλη Πελαρδή.
Τα τελευταία χρόνια με ορμητήριο την Αγγλία προχωρά την επαγγελματική του καριέρα έχοντας αήττητο ρεκόρ 4-0 ως τώρα.
Το τελευταίο του ματς έγινε φέτος τον Φεβρουάριο στην Αγγλία όντας επικράτηση με ομόφωνη απόφαση απέναντι στον Jan Ardon.
