Αντικείμενο της τελευταίας Γενικής Συνέλευσης του Αναπτυξιακού Οργανισμού Περιφέρειας Ν. Αιγαίου «Κ2» Α.Ε. ήταν η ψήφιση του οργανογράμματος καθώς και η γενική διάρθρωση του οργανισμού.
Συνακολούθα, ορίστηκαν ο Διευθύνων Σύμβουλος και οι εκτελεστικοί διευθυντές των επιμέρους διευθύνσεων, ως εξής:

Εκτελεστική Διευθύντρια Βιώσιμης Ανάπτυξης και Τουρισμού: Αγγελική Χονδροματίδου

Εκτελεστικός Διευθυντής Οικονομικής και Διοικητικής Διαχείρισης: Πανταζής Κολάης.
Σημειώνεται ότι η κ. Αγγελική Χονδροματίδου, αναλαμβάνοντας τα νέα της καθήκοντα στην «Κ2» Α.Ε., παραιτήθηκε της θέσεως της ειδικής συνεργάτιδας στην Περιφέρεια Ν. Αιγαίου.
Υπενθυμίζεται ότι το Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο του Αναπτυξιακού Οργανισμού, που έχει οριστεί προ μηνών, απαρτίζουν οι :

Νικόλαος Μπόνης – Διευθύνων Σύμβουλος

Τέλος, τονίζεται ότι ο Αναπτυξιακός Οργανισμός της Περιφέρειας Νοτίου Αιγαίου «Κ2» Α.Ε. συνιστά ένα νέο αναπτυξιακό εργαλείο που θα διαδραματίσει καθοριστικό ρόλο στην ικανότητα του Νοτίου Αιγαίου να αξιοποιήσει κατά τον καλύτερο δυνατό τρόπο, πόρους από το νέο ΕΣΠΑ 20121-2027, που είναι υπερδιπλάσιοι των πόρων του ΕΣΠΑ 2014-2020, αλλά και από το Ταμείο Ανάκαμψης, από το οποίο, άνω από 30 δις, επιπλέον των πόρων του νέου ΕΣΠΑ, θα εισρεύσουν στα ταμεία του κράτους. Με τη σύσταση του Αναπτυξιακού Οργανισμού, η Περιφέρεια Νοτίου Αιγαίου, πρώτη από όλες τις Περιφέρειες της χώρας αποκτά ετοιμότητα με τα δικά της θεσμικά εργαλεία, με τις δικές της επεξεργασμένες προτάσεις για έργα και με τον δικό της μηχανισμό υλοποίησης και απορρόφησης.
Αυτός ο νέος μηχανισμός θα λειτουργεί παράλληλα με αυτόν που ήδη υπάρχει στην Περιφέρεια και έχει φέρει μέχρι σήμερα πολύ σημαντικά αποτελέσματα για τα νησιά, με στόχο να μεγιστοποιηθούν τα οφέλη και να μην χαθεί καμία αναπτυξιακή ευκαιρία για τα νησιά του Νοτίου Αιγαίου.
