Με απόλυτη επιτυχία πραγματοποιήθηκαν οι Διεθνείς ποδηλατικές εκδηλώσεις
της Ρόδου, από τις 12 έως της 27 Μαρτίου 2022. Οι συνολικά επτά αγωνιστικές
ημέρες έδωσαν τη δυνατότητα στους συμμετέχοντες και συνοδούς τους, να
ζήσουν μοναδικές στιγμές, μέσα από μια διοργάνωση που έχει γίνει θεσμός για
την αγωνιστική ποδηλασία, όχι μόνο στο νησί της Ρόδου, αλλά γενικότερα σε όλη
την χώρα. Το επίπεδο όλων των αγώνων ήταν αρκετά υψηλό, κάτι που δεν
οφείλεται μόνο στην παρουσία μεγάλων επαγγελματικών και ημιεπαγγελματικών
ομάδων, αλλά και στον σχεδιασμό, την υλοποίηση αυτού από τους διοργανωτές
και την ανταπόκριση των Ροδιτών, που αγκάλιασαν ζεστά την όλη προσπάθεια
και απέδειξαν ότι αυτές οι παγκοσμίου βεληνεκούς ποδηλατικές εκδηλώσεις είναι
όλων των Ροδιτών.
Οι κάτοικοι του νησιού έχουν αντιληφθεί ότι οι Διεθνείς ποδηλατικές εκδηλώσεις
καθιερώνουν τη Ρόδο ως ένα προορισμό μεγάλων αθλητικών γεγονότων που
συμβάλλουν στην επέκταση της τουριστικής περιόδου, αλλά και την υποστήριξη
των τοπικών επιχειρήσεων. Αποτελεί ένα ετήσιο αθλητικό γεγονός παγκόσμιας
ακτινοβολίας και κύρους.
Σημαντικότατη ήταν η στήριξη, τόσο της συνδιοργανώτριας Περιφέρειας Νοτίου
Αιγαίου, όσο και του συνδιοργανωτή Δήμου Ρόδου-ΔΟΠΑΡ. Ακόμη και του
Εμπορικού και Βιομηχανικού Επιμελητηρίου Δωδεκανήσου. Επίσης, σημαντικό
ρόλο έπαιξαν και οι χορηγοί, που ηθικά και υλικά υποστήριξαν την όλη
προσπάθεια. Όλοι τους ανανέωσαν το ραντεβού για το 2023, οπότε και οι
εκδηλώσεις θα είναι ακόμη υψηλότερου επιπέδου.
ΤΟ ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑ ΤΩΝ ΕΚΔΗΛΩΣΕΩΝ
Το πρόγραμμα των εκδηλώσεων περιλάμβανε τρεις αγώνες, συνολικής
απόστασης 973 χιλιομέτρων και ήταν:
-12 και 13 Μαρτίου 2022, ο «Γύρος Νοτίου Αιγαίου»
-20 Μαρτίου 2022, το Διεθνές «Γκραν Πρι της Ρόδου»
-24 έως 27 Μαρτίου 2022, ο Διεθνής «Γύρος της Ρόδου».
ΠΡΩΤΑΘΛΗΤΕΣ ΧΩΡΩΝ ΣΤΟΥΣ ΣΥΜΜΕΤΕΧΟΝΤΕΣ
Συμμετείχαν 160 ποδηλάτες με 30 ομάδες από 30 χώρες. Ανάμεσα τους υπήρχαν
και τέσσερις πρωταθλητές των χωρών τους για το έτος 2021. Πρόκειται, για τους
εξής:
-Νικηφόρο Αρβανίτου (Ελλάδα), πρωταθλητής στο ατομικό χρονόμετρο και στην
αντοχή της κατηγορίας Εφήβων
-Ανδρέα Μιλτιάδη (Κύπρος), πρωταθλητής στο ατομικό χρονόμετρο και στην
αντοχή της κατηγορίας Ανδρών
– Lukáš KUBIŠ (Σλοβακία), πρωταθλητής στο ατομικό χρονόμετρο της κατηγορίας
Νέων Ανδρών και
– Ivan ROMEO ABAD (Ισπανία), πρωταθλητής στο ατομικό χρονόμετρο και στην
αντοχή της κατηγορίας Εφήβων.
ΝΙΚΗΤΗΣ ΣΤΟ ''ΓΥΡΟ ΝΟΤΙΟΥ ΑΙΓΑΙΟΥ'' Ο ΚΑΝΑΔΟΣ ΝΤΑΛ-ΣΙΝ
Ο Καναδός Ματέο Νταλ-Σιν της Toronto Hustle κέρδισε το διεθνή ποδηλατικό
«Γύρο Νοτίου Αιγαίου», (δοργανώθηκε για πρώτη φορά) συνολικής απόστασης
340,9χλμ. Ο έμπειρος ποδηλάτης, που ήταν δεύτερος στο πρώτο ετάπ, κέρδισε το
δεύτερο ετάπ και παράλληλα τον αγώνα, με συνολικό χρόνο 8 ώρες, 29 λεπτά και
18 δευτερόλεπτα. Δεύτερος στον «Γύρο» ήταν ο Γερμανός Λούκα Ντρέμπλερ της
ομάδας Lotto-Kern Haus (8.29.24), ενώ τρίτος, τερμάτισε o Γάλλος Αλέξις Γκουερίν
της Team Vorarlberg (8.29.28).
Καλύτερος Έλληνας «γενικής», ήταν ο Γιώργος Μπούγλας της Εθνικής που
τερμάτισε 12ος, με χρόνο (8.31.22).
ΝΟΡΒΗΓΟΣ ΚΕΡΔΙΣΕ ΤΟ «ΓΚΡΑΝ ΠΡΙ» ΡΟΔΟΥ
O Νορβηγός Αντρέ Ντρέγκε της ομάδας Team Coop από τη Νορβηγία κέρδισε το
ποδηλατικό «Γκραν Πρι Ρόδου», που ήταν συνολικής απόστασης 186χλμ.. Ο
Ντρέγκε κάλυψε την απόσταση σε χρόνο 4 ώρες, 14 λεπτά και 45 δευτερόλεπτα.
Δεύτερος, τερμάτισε ο Δανός Αντρέας Στόκμπρο, επίσης της Team Coop, ενώ
τρίτος ήρθε ο Γερμανός Κρίστιαν Κοχ της Γερμανικής ομάδας Team Lotto – Kern
Haus. Ο χρόνος του δεύτερου και τρίτου ποδηλάτη, ήταν ο ίδιος με του νικητή.
Από ελληνικής πλευράς, την καλύτερη θέση στην γενική κατάταξη (8oς) πήρε ο
Γιώργος Μπούγλας του Κρόνου Νίκαιας. Δεύτερος καλύτερος Έλληνας, ήταν ο
Ροδίτης Νίκος Δράκος (46ος) και τρίτος, ο Παναγιώτης Χριστόπουλος (54ος), που
συμμετείχαν με την Εθνική Ελλάδας.
ΔΑΝΟΣ ΑΘΛΗΤΗΣ ΠΡΩΤΕΥΣΕ ΣΤΟΝ «ΓΥΡΟ ΡΟΔΟΥ»
O Δανός Λούις Μπέντιξεν της Team Coop είναι ο νικητής του φετινού Διεθνούς
Ποδηλατικού «Γύρου Ρόδου», που ήταν τετραήμερος, με συνολική απόσταση 446
χιλιομέτρων! Ο Μπέντιξεν, που είχε κερδίσει τα πρώτα δύο ετάπ, ήρθε τέταρτος
στο τελευταίο ετάπ, όμως, βαθμολογικά δεν επηρεάστηκε από κάποιον άλλον
συνδιεκδικητή του τίτλου. Ο συνολικός του χρόνος ήταν 11 ώρες 09 λεπτά και 42
δευτερόλεπτα. Δεύτερος της «γενικής», τερμάτισε ο Γερμανός Λούκας Μίλερ της
Team Vorarlberg και τρίτος, ο Γάλλος Αλέξις Γκουερίν, επίσης της Team
Vorarlberg.
-Καλύτερος Έλληνας στο «Γύρο Ρόδου» ήταν ο Περικλής Ηλίας του Κρόνου
Νίκαιας. Τερμάτισε 22ος στην γενική κατάταξη.
ΑΥΣΤΡΙΑΚΗ ΟΜΑΔΑ ΚΕΡΔΙΣΕ ΤΟΝ ΤΕΤΡΑΗΜΕΡΟ ΑΓΩΝΑ
H Αυστριακή ομάδα Team Vorarlberg πήρε την πρώτη θέση στο Διεθνή
Ποδηλατικό «Γύρο Ρόδου». Στη δεύτερη θέση αυτής της κατηγορίας τερμάτισε η
Αμερικανική ομάδα Hagens Berman Axeon και τρίτη η Γερμανική Team Lotto –
Kern Haus.
Στην κατηγορία των αθλητών κάτω των 23 ετών, την πρώτη θέση πήρε ο
πρωταθλητής Ισπανίας Ιβάν Ρομέο (18 ετών) της Hagens Berman Axeon. Δεύτερος
ήρθε ο 19χρονος Αμερικανός Τζάρεντ Σκοτ της Aevolo και τρίτος, ο Δανός Κάσπερ
Άντερσεν Hagens Berman Axeon.
Στα «σπριντ ανάβασης» πρώτευσε ο Τσέχος ποδηλάτης Κάρελ Τίρπεκλ της ATT
Investments. Δεύτερος ήρθε ο Δανός Νίκολας Τόροε Χάνσεν της Team IBT – BH

Επιμελητήριο Δωδεκανήσου (ΕΒΕΔ).
