Γεννιέται ένας νέος εννοιολογικός κόσμος στην οικονομική ορολογία. Ξεκίνησε απο τον καιρό που ο χρυσός έχασε τον θρόνο του ως εχέγγυο της κυκλοφορίας του χαρτονομίσματος. Και συνεχίζει σήμερα με το ψηφιακό χρήμα και τα κρυπτονομίσματα. Αλλά κυρίως με την αντι-αξία( Harvey).
Την νέα έννοια περιγραφής ενός συναλλακτικού σύμπαντος που εκμηδενίζει αποστάσεις. Και με την ίδια ευκολία που εκτοξεύει περιουσίες, τις εξαυλώνει κιόλας. Το ψηφιακό άπειρο είναι η απροσδιόριστη επικράτεια της Αξίας. Η φαντασία στο συλλογικό ασυνείδητο δημιουργεί σχήματα έξω απο την πραγματικότητα: διηνεκής απώθηση χρέους, απεριόριστη ποσότητα νομισμάτων, αέναη κεφαλαιοποίηση αξιών. Ο ψηφιακός χωροχρόνος δεν επιτρέπει στην Αξία να κάθεται, να παγιώνεται. Αλλά την υποχρεώνει να μετακυλιέται, να σέρνεται, να απωθείται.
Πλέον το ίδιο το παρόν της είναι η αντι-αξία που κουβαλάει το μηδενικό επιτόκιο έκδοσης χρήματος και καμουφλάρει την έλλειψη παραγωγικών κεφαλαίων στις οικονομίες. Αυτά που υφίστανται άλλοτε ως στάσιμα ( λιμνάζοντα) και ως παρασιτικά, δηλαδή βάση για κερδοσκοπική μόχλευση χρηματιστηριακών αξιών. Πολλοί άρχισαν ήδη να φαντάζονται το ψηφιακό ευρώ ως επανεδαφικοποίηση νομισματικής αξίας, δηλαδή ως μια νέα σταθερά απεριόριστης φερεγγυότητας, αφού δηλώθηκε ότι θα είναι αποθεματικό νόμισμα. Μας διαφεύγει ότι σε φάση σχεδόν αποπληθωρισμού οποιοδήποτε νόμισμα αποθεματοποιείται ως συναλλακτικό μέσο, δύναται να έχει αντίκρυσμα μη πεπερασμένης αξίας. Δηλαδή αέρα κοπανιστό που θα μπορεί να πετάει στο νέφος, στο cloud των τερματικών, στις οθόνες, στα χρηματιστήρια. Και αυτό γιατί στην πραγματικότητα το συνολικό μελλοντικό απόθεμα των ψηφίων θα μοιάζει άπειρο. Αλλά δεν θα είναι. Όπως δεν είναι άπειρο το εξορυκτικό ψηφιακό απόθεμα των κρυπτονομισμάτων. Τα ψηφία δεν είναι νομισματική αξία, ούτε εμπράγματη εχέγγυα επικράτεια.
Είναι μια λογιστικοποιημένη εκδοχή συναλλακτικής αποτύπωσης αφηρημένης ποσότητας χρήματος-χρέους και αντι-αξίας μαζί : είναι quantum’s value( κβαντική αξία). Υποθέτω ότι πάλι θα διαμεσολαβήσει μεταξύ μελλοντικών αξιών η λογική της εμπράγματης εξασφάλισης αντικρίσματος από τις κεντρικές τράπεζες. Αλλά το εμπράγματο θα είναι και αυτό ψηφιακό: ομόλογα ψηφιακά ώστε να ισοσταθμίστει ο όγκος των μελλοντικών πιστώσεων κυκλοφορίας κεφαλαίου με τις επενδύσεις σε μελλοντικές υπεραξίες γης, εμπορευμάτων, ακινήτων.
Εν ολίγοις: Η θεωρία του ψηφιακού νομίσματος δεν είναι η θεωρία της απειροστικής λογικής που σαγηνεύει τον κοινό νου. Είναι η θεωρία της μηχανικής πίσω απο την πεπερασμένη κυκλοφορία αντι-αξίας. Μια καθαρά αλγοριθμική εκκαθάριση μεταξύ προσφοράς ζήτησης /χρήματος που όμως αφορά στην πραγματικότητα το χρήμα-χρέος. Και αυτό είναι που σταδιακά και αθόρυβα απομειώνει την Αξία. Φρονώ ότι χρειαζόμαστε μια εξωσυμβατική νομισματική πολιτική για να μην απαξιωθούμε περισσότερο ως κοινωνικές οικονομίες, ως συναλλακτικά υποκείμενα, ως σύστημα και κύκλωμα παραγωγής/κατανάλωσης. Χρειαζόμαστε μια ”αντικραδασμική” τιτλοποίηση παγίων παραγωγικών κεφαλαίων ως νομισματική βάση, όχι ως απλών περιουσιακών στοιχείων.
Θα είναι μια δικλείδα ασφαλείας συμβατή με την αξιωματική του πραγματικού/παραγωγικού κεφαλαίου που η πανδημία έχει νεκρώσει. Ξεχάσαμε ηθελημένα ότι το κόστος του χρήματος μηδενίστηκε για να επικρατήσει η συνεχής κάμψη της αξίας ως αποτέλεσμα μιας ατέρμονης προσπάθειας να πιάσει κανείς αυτό που χάνει στον καπιταλισμό αλλά το φαντάζεται σε ένα δυνητικό άπειρο. Και αγνοούμε ότι το χρήμα έγινε -αυτό το ίδιο- μια ανεστραμμένη αντανάκλαση της δυνητικής του αναπαραγωγής και γι αυτό πήρε αρνητικό πρόσημο. Όχι ως παράγωγο της υποκείμενης αξίας του αλλά ως εμπόρευμα: αυτό που ήταν πάντα δηλαδή και συνέβαλλε στην απεδαφικοποίηση του πλούτου μέσω της νομισματικής αφαίρεσης.
