Τουρισμού Δήμου Ρόδου συμμετείχε στο webinar που αφορούσε τη Ρόδο και
είχε τίτλο “5 Reasons to Visit Rhodes – 5 λόγοι για να επισκεφθείς τη
Ρόδο”, που πραγματοποιήθηκε στις 7 Δεκεμβρίου 2021 και απευθυνόταν σε
επαγγελματίες της τουριστικής αγοράς της Ολλανδίας, του Βελγίου και του
Λουξεμβούργου, στο πλαίσιο συμμετοχής της Ρόδου στην πρώτη online
επαγγελματική πλατφόρμα δικτύωσης Ελλήνων επαγγελματιών του τουρισμού
με την αγορά της Benelux, της “Link to Greece –

Συντονίστρια του webinar ήταν η Deputy Director του ΕΟΤ Κάτω Χωρών
Άντζελα Τζίφα ενώ η παρουσίαση της Ρόδου έγινε σε 5 θεματικές ενότητες:
1. Destination: Εκπρόσωπος του προορισμού ο Σάββας Ε. Πάττας Ειδικός
Σύμβουλος Τουρισμού – Πολιτισμού Δημάρχου Ρόδου, ο οποίος πέρα από την
παράθεση βασικών πληροφοριών για τη Ρόδο αναφέρθηκε σε θέματα που
ενδεχομένως δεν γνώριζαν για το νησί, όπως τους πολιτικούς γάμους και το
εξειδικευμένο site του Δήμου Ρόδου, τον συνεδριακό τουρισμό και τις άριστες
υποδομές που διαθέτει το νησί και το πλήθος εμπειριών που προσφέρει.
2. Safety–comfort: Αναστάσιος Χατζηλιαμής CEO στο τουριστικό πρακτορείο
Destination One και Γεν. Γραμματέας της Ένωσης Τουριστικών Γραφείων
Δωδεκανήσου. Μίλησε για την ασφάλεια του προορισμού και έδωσε
πληροφορίες σχετικά με τις υποδομές που διαθέτει το νησί, κυρίως σε ότι
αφορά την διαμονή.
3. Gastronomy: Παναγιώτης Λαγογιάννης General Manger στην επιχείρηση
Koukos Guest House. Αναφέρθηκε στις πρώτες ύλες του νησιού, στην ροδίτικη
γαστρονομία και την μεγάλη ανάπτυξη των ροδίτικων οινοποιείων τα τελευταία
χρόνια με πολλά βραβεία.
4. Outdoor experiences: Carolien Briex Outdoor Activities Manager στην
επιχείρηση Rhodes Adventures. Έγινε αναφορά στις δραστηριότητες που
μπορεί να κάνει κάποιος στο νησί από πεζοπορία και αναρρίχηση μέχρι water
sports κλπ.
5. Meet the locals: Δημήτρης Σαλαχούρης Πρόεδρος του Σωματείου
Διπλωματούχων Ξεναγών Δωδεκανήσου.
Αναφορά σε κάποια σημαντικά μέρη του νησιού, τα τοπικά έθιμα και στην
μοναδική ροδίτικη φιλοξενία.
Στη διαδικτυακή συνάντηση συμμετείχαν περίπου 40 travel agents από
Ολλανδία, Βέλγιο και Λουξεμβούργο.
Η ανάδειξη λοιπόν της «άλλης» Ρόδου, ενός τόπου ευλογημένου, ενός
μοναδικού νησιού που μπορεί να προσφέρει εκτός από το κλασσικό δίπτυχο
«ήλιος και θάλασσα» πληθώρα εμπειριών στον επισκέπτη, που έχουν να
κάνουν με τον πολιτισμό, τη γαστρονομία, τη φύση και που καλύπτει ένα ευρύ
πεδίο δραστηριοτήτων και μοναδικών εμπειριών «unique experiences» για
κάθε target group, παρουσιάσθηκε αναλυτικά στους επαγγελματίες της
Benelux, που ζητούσαν να μάθουν ποιες άλλες εμπειρίες μπορεί να
προσφέρει στους επισκέπτες του το νησί.
«Αυτές τις εμπειρίες που προσφέρει η Ρόδος στους επισκέπτες της, αυτή η
ανεξερεύνητη πλευρά του νησιού γοητεύει τους επισκέπτες και για την οποία η
ζήτηση, ειδικά τα τελευταία χρόνια, βαίνει συνεχώς αυξανόμενη. Η “άλλη
Ρόδος” όπως συνηθίζεται να αναφέρεται κάποιες φορές, στην πραγματικότητα
αποτελεί σημαντικό μέρος του συνολικού τουριστικού προϊόντος της Ρόδου»
υπογράμμισε ο ειδικός σύμβουλος Τουρισμού- Πολιτισμού του Δημάρχου
Ρόδου Σάββας Πάττας συμπληρώνοντας:
«Μέσα από το συγκεκριμένο webinar προσπαθήσαμε να αξιοποιήσουμε την
ευκαιρία και να επισημάνουμε ότι το τουριστικό προϊόν της Ρόδου είναι
πολυδιάστατο. Στρατηγική επιδίωξη του Δήμου Ρόδου είναι, σε συνεργασία και
με τους υπόλοιπους αρμόδιους φορείς, η ανάπτυξη των απαραίτητων
υποδομών που εμπλουτίζουν περαιτέρω το τουριστικό του προϊόν, η
υλοποίηση στοχευμένων δράσεων και παράλληλα η μεγαλύτερη δυνατή
προβολή εκείνων των χαρακτηριστικών που αναδεικνύουν την μοναδικότητα
του προορισμού».
«Στόχος μας ως Δήμος Ρόδου και ως Διεύθυνση Τουρισμού είναι να δώσουμε
έμφαση και να προβάλλουμε τις απεριόριστες δυνατότητες που έχει η Ρόδος
σε όλες τις δυναμικά αναπτυσσόμενες μορφές τουρισμού, που αφορούν
κυρίως τις εναλλακτικές μορφές τουρισμού, στο πλαίσιο πάντα της τουριστικής
πολιτικής του Δήμου Ρόδου που έχει ως στόχο την επιμήκυνση της τουριστικής
περιόδου στο νησί, αξιοποιώντας τις υπάρχουσες δυνατότητες και
ικανοποιώντας συγχρόνως τις νέες ανάγκες» ανέφερε μετά το πέρας της
διαδικτυακής συνάντησης ο αντιδήμαρχος Τουρισμού Αθανάσιος Βυρίνης.
Στο τέλος της παρουσίασης έγινε κλήρωση και δόθηκε ως δώρο σε έναν
συμμετέχοντα διαμονή για 2 άτομα. 3 διανυκτερεύσεις σε 4* ξενοδοχείο της
Ρόδου με πρωινό, δωρεά από το τουριστικό γραφείο KAPCO TRAVEL
SERVICES LTD.
