Παραβρέθηκα σήμερα, με τους συνεργάτες μου γιατρούς Γιώργο Τριάντο και Σάββα Καραταπάνη στα εγκαίνια του ανακαινισμένου ξενώνα του Γενικού Νοσοκομείου Ρόδου, που πραγματοποιήθηκε από τη Διοίκησή του σε συνεργασία με την Περιφέρεια Νοτίου Αιγαίου.
Πρόκειται για ένα σημαντικό έργο, που εξασφαλίζει συνθήκες φιλοξενίας σε αξιοπρεπές και λειτουργικό περιβάλλον σε ασθενείς και συνοδούς, χωρίς οικονομική επιβάρυνση.
Με τον Περιφερειάρχη Νοτίου Αιγαίου Γιώργο Χατζημάρκο, τον χωρικό αντιπεριφερειάρχη Χρήστο Ευστρατίου και τον Αντιπεριφερειάρχη Ενέργειας, Βιομηχανίας και Φυσικών Πόρων Κάλλιστο Διακογεωργίου που είχε την επίβλεψη του έργου και η συμβολή του είναι σημαντική στην ολοκλήρωση του έργου, επισημάναμε στον Διοικητή του Γενικού Νοσοκομείου Ρόδου, ότι ο Δήμος Ρόδου και η Περιφέρεια Νοτίου Αιγαίου, θα βρίσκονται δίπλα του, στην κοινή προσπάθεια αναβάθμισης των παρεχόμενων υπηρεσιών προς τους ασθενείς και τους συνοδούς τους.
Και βέβαια την κοινή αυτή προσπάθειά μας στηρίζουν και επαγγελματίες της Ρόδου τους οποίους και ευχαριστούμε για την συνδρομή τους στην ολοκλήρωση των εργασιών του ανακαινισμένου ξενώνα.
