Στην έκθεση, που δημοσιεύθηκε στο ACS Pharmacology & Translational Science, οι ερευνητές προτείνουν τις φαρμακευτικές αυτές ουσίες ως πιθανούς.. «υποψήφιους» για δοκιμές σε μελλοντικές κλινικές δοκιμές για τη βελτίωση της ανοσολογικής απόκρισης στον ιό.
Αποτελεσματικότητα και ασφάλεια
«Λαμβάνοντας υπόψη την μεγάλη ανάγκη για μελέτες υψηλής ποιότητας, σχεδιάσαμε μια υπολογιστική ροή εργασίας που περιελάμβανε ανεξάρτητη και in vitro επικύρωση των δεδομένων μας. Στην συνέχεια ακολούθησε η αξιολόγηση των φαρμακευτικών ουσιών, με σκοπό να προτείνουμε τις καταλληλότερες για κλινικές μελέτες στο πρώιμο στάδιο – την επώαση και τις συμπτωματικές φάσεις – σε ασθενείς που έχουν προσβληθεί από SARS-CoV-2.
«Δεδομένης της ανάγκης για βελτιωμένη αποτελεσματικότητα και ασφάλεια, προτείνουμε τη ζουκλοπενθιξόλη, τη νεβιβολόλη και την αμοδιακίνη ως υποψήφιες φαρμακευτικές ουσίες για κλινικές δοκιμές κατά της πρώιμης φάσης της λοίμωξης SARS-CoV-2» υπογραμμίζουν οι ερευνητές.
Πώς συνδέονται με υδροξυχλωροκίνη και ρεμδεσιβίρη
Συγκρίνοντας τα φάρμακα με την υδροξυχλωροκίνη, το φάρμακο κατά της ελονοσίας που μελετήθηκε συχνότερα σε κλινικές δοκιμές για χρήση ως θεραπεία κατά της Covid-19 οι ερευνητές εξέτασαν 4.000 εγκεκριμένα φάρμακα και διαπίστωσαν ότι αυτά τα τρία δρουν παρόμοια με την υδροξυχλωροκίνη και, σε ορισμένες περιπτώσεις, με περισσότερη ασφάλεια.
Σύμφωνα με τους ερευνητές, η αποτελεσματικότητα μπορεί να ενισχυθεί περαιτέρω όταν συνδυάζονται σε χαμηλότερες δόσεις με την ρεμδεσιβίρη, δραστική ουσία φαρμάκου που έχει λάβει άδεια έκτακτης ανάγκης από την Υπηρεσία Τροφίμων και Φαρμάκων των Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών ως θεραπευτική αγωγή για την Covid-19.

Today, I went to the beachfront with my children.
