την 3η Νοεμβρίου 2021.
Έπειτα από πολλά χρόνια, ο ΠΡΟΤΟΥΡ επιστρέφει στις μεγάλες τουριστικές εκθέσεις με
δικό του περίπτερο με στόχο την προβολή της Ρόδου και την σε μία από τις
σημαντικότερες τουριστικές αγορές.
Το εντυπωσιακό και μοντέρνας αισθητικής περίπτερο θα “κοσμεί” το νέο λογότυπο του
Οργανισμού, μία αποτύπωση του Κολοσσού της Ρόδου που αναδύεται από τείχη της
Μεσαιωνικής Πόλης. Παράλληλα, θα προβάλλεται διαρκώς νέο οπτικοακουστικό υλικό
που έχει παραγάγει ο ΠΡΟΤΟΥΡ και αναδεικνύει τις ειδικές μορφές τουρισμού που
έχουν αναπτυχθεί στον προορισμό κα προσφέρονται στους επισκέπτες, καθώς επίσης
όλες τις ομορφιές του νησιού, τα μνημεία, τα σημεία τουριστικού ενδιαφέροντος, τις
παραλίες…
Στο Λονδίνο θα μεταβεί ο Δήμαρχος Ρόδου Αντώνης Β. Καμπουράκης προκειμένου να
συμμετάσχει στην WTM ως επικεφαλής της αντιπροσωπείας της Δημοτικής Αρχής. Στο
περιθώριο της έκθεσης ο κ. Καμπουράκης μαζί με μέλη της αντιπροσωπείας του Δήμου,
θα έχει B2B συναντήσεις με εκπροσώπους μεγάλων τουριστικών οργανισμών,
εταιρειών κρουαζιέρας, αεροπορικών εταιρειών, εταιρειών προώθησης ειδικών μορφών
τουρισμού, στοχεύοντας στη δικτύωση, στη σύναψη νέων συμφωνιών και στην
ενδυνάμωση της ήδη ισχυρής σχέσης της Ρόδου με την αγορά της Αγγλία και του Ην.
Βασιλείου εν γένει.
Σημειώνεται ότι ο ΠΡΟΤΟΥΡ έχει ζητήσει από τα μέλη της Ένωσης Ξενοδόχων Ρόδου και
της Ένωσης Τουριστικών Πρακτόρων Δωδεκανήσου να καταθέσουν προτάσεις και
ιδέες για τη συμμετοχή στη WTM, στοχεύοντας στην ανάδειξη της Ρόδου ως “Prime”
προορισμού. Καθώς πανδημία συνεχίζει να επισκιάζει την τουριστική δραστηριότητα
παγκοσμίως, η Δημοτική Αρχή θέλει να αναδειχθεί με τον πληρέστερο δυνατό τρόπο στο
Λονδίνο, ότι η Ρόδος προσφέρει ένα ποιοτικό και ασφαλές τουριστικό προϊόν, γεγονός
που ήδη αναγνωρίζεται από τις τουριστικές αγορές και έχει συντελέσει στη σημαντική
επιτυχία του Ροδιακού τουρισμού φέτος.
Με όπλο το ισχυρό και εδραιωμένο πλέον τουριστικό brand “Rhodes”, ο ΠΡΟΤΟΥΡ
αποσκοπεί ειδικότερα, όχι μόνο στην αύξηση των τουριστικών ροών, αλλά στην

ενίσχυση των ποιοτικών χαρακτηριστικών του εισερχόμενου τουρισμού. Στο πλαίσιο
