Το Δημοτικό Συμβούλιο της Ηρωικής Νήσου Κάσου συνήλθε σε έκτακτη συνεδρίαση με μοναδικό θέμα ημερήσιας διάταξης την ακτοπλοϊκή εξυπηρέτηση του νησιού και τα προβλήματα που έχουν δημιουργηθεί.
Το δις εξαμαρτείν ουκ ανδρός σοφού εστί. Το πάθημα του καλοκαιρού δεν έγινε μάθημα.
Ενώ υπήρξαν δημόσιες δεσμεύσεις της πολιτικής ηγεσίας του Υπουργείο Ναυτιλίας και Νησιωτικής Πολιτικής, για ανάληψη υπηρεσίας πλοίου Β’ κατηγορίας που θα εκτελεί από την 1η Νοέμβριου 2022 τρία δρομολόγια εβδομαδιαία από Πειραιά προς την Κασο-Καρπαθία αποδείχθηκε εκ του αποτελέσματος η αναξιοπιστία και η ανεπάρκεια της να τις εκπληρώσει.
Ζητάμε τα αυτονόητα. Δεν μας ενδιαφέρει ο λόγος μη κατάθεσης προσφοράς από την εταιρεία Blue Star . Δε θα δεχθούμε να γίνουμε τα θύματα μεταξύ του Υπουργείου και των εταιρειών. Η κατάσταση είναι τραγική. Έχει παραλύσει η οικονομία. Οι προμήθειες έχουν αρχίσει να εμφανίζουν ελλείψεις. Πολλοί συμπατριώτες μας έχουν αποκλειστεί κυρίως στην Κρήτη και δεν έχουν τρόπο να γυρίσουν πίσω, ενώ άλλοι που χρειάζεται να φύγουν τόσο για υγειονομικούς όσο και για επαγγελματικούς λόγους δεν μπορούν. Θέλουμε αυτό που γίνεται σε όλα τα νησιά του Αρχιπελάγους χρόνια τώρα. Δηλαδή πλοίο Β’ κατηγορίας στα νησιά μας Η. Ν. Κάσο και Κάρπαθο. Φτάσαμε στο και πέντε. Τέλος τα λόγια. Αναμένουμε να πράξετε τα αυτονόητα.
Άμεση δρομολόγηση πλοίου αυτή την εβδομάδα από Πειραιά μέσω Ηρακλείου ώστε να μπορούν να μετακινηθούν όλοι οι συμπατριώτες μας από και προς τα αστικά κέντρα, αλλά και να προμηθευτούν οι επιχειρήσεις τα προϊόντα τους.
Άμεση επαναπροκήρυξη της γραμμής με ταυτόχρονη την αμοιβαία υποχώρηση των απαιτήσεων και του Υπουργείου αλλά και των εταιρειών να βρεθεί η χρυσή τομή και να αποκτήσει το Ηρωική μας νησί τη συγκοινωνία που του αξίζει. Αν δεν δικαιωθούν τα αιτήματα μας, επιφυλασσόμαστε για πιο σκληρή διεκδίκηση τους. Ο Δήμος, οι φορείς του νησιού, οι κάτοικοι, είμαστε μια γροθιά και θα διεκδικήσουμε με κάθε τρόπο αυτό που μας αναλογεί.
