Οι εμπνευστές της ανακοίνωσης του φαρμακευτικού συλλόγου αφιέρωσαν μία σελίδα Α4 , δηλαδή 323 λέξεις προσπαθώντας να αποκρύψουν ότι o φορέας δεν διαφωνεί με τη δημόσια πρόταση που κατέθεσα για τη διενέργεια τεστ covid στους τουρίστες στα μικρά νησιά από τοπικούς φαρμακοποιούς.
Είναι χαρακτηριστικό ότι παρά την διάχυτη δυσαρέσκεια των συντακτών για την δημόσια πολιτική πρωτοβουλία μου και την προσπάθεια απαξίωσης των προθέσεων μου, επί της ουσίας για την ίδια την πρόταση δεν καταγράφεται πουθενά η διαφωνία του συλλόγου.
Άλλωστε η δημόσια πρόταση μου για τη διενέργεια σε τουρίστες και από φαρμακοποιούς τεστ covid στα μικρά νησιά και έκδοση του ψηφιακού πιστοποιητικού είχε ως μόνο σκοπό να ενδυναμώσει την κοινή προσπάθεια όλων για να διαφυλάξουμε την υγεία και τον τουρισμό στα νησιά μας.
Προφανώς η αγωνία δεν πολιτικοποιείται. Θεωρώ ότι όλοι παλεύουμε για να ξεπεράσουμε ένα τεράστιο πρόβλημα που ταλανίζει την ανθρωπότητα. Αυτή η προσπάθεια είναι από όλους μας καθημερινή και κοινή. Για το λόγο αυτό και καλόπιστα ανέφερα ότι ο Φαρμακευτικός Σύλλογος, όπως έχουν πράξει διαχρονικά και μέσω των μελών του «είναι έτοιμος να συνεργαστεί και με θέρμη να συμμετέχει σε μια προσπάθεια που θα οδηγήσει σε ουσιαστική υποστήριξη της τουριστικής περιόδου.»
Σε αυτό τον καθημερινό αγώνα ως Περιφερειακός Σύμβουλος Νοτίου Αιγαίου, μέλος της διοίκησης του Ε.Β.Ε.Δ. και επιχειρηματίας στον Τουρισμό έχω θεσμική υποχρέωση απέναντι στους πολίτες, τους εργαζομένους στις επιχειρήσεις και τους επισκέπτες μας να συμβάλω με όποιο τρόπο μπορώ.
Κατέθεσα στο δημόσιο διάλογο μια πρόταση, αφού προηγουμένως είχα συζητήσει τις σκέψεις μου με συγκεκριμένους φαρμακοποιούς, και μαζί μπορέσαμε να της δώσουμε μορφή. Άλλωστε, η πρότασή μου στηριζόταν στην πρακτική που βλέπω να υιοθετούν άλλοι ξενοδόχοι και επιχειρηματίες του τουρισμού στα τουριστικά μέρη της Ευρώπης. Η Γερμανία, η Αυστρία και η Κύπρος, ως το πιο κοντινό μας παράδειγμα όπου οι φαρμακοποιοί συμβάλουν αποτελεσματικά στη διαχείριση των τουριστικών αναχωρήσεων λόγω της υγειονομικής κρίσης.
Μία πρόταση που επιλύει ένα τεράστιο πρόβλημα που αποθαρρύνει λόγω δυσκολίας, χρόνου και κόστους τους τουρίστες να επισκεφτούν τα μικρά νησιά, ενώ παράλληλα θα δώσει την δυνατότητα στους φαρμακοποιούς του Νομού να εισέλθουν σε μία αγορά παροχής υπηρεσιών.
Μία αγορά που ήδη εμφανίζονται ζητήματα αισχροκέρδειας, γύρω από την πιστοποίηση των αποτελεσμάτων των τεστ πριν την αναχώρηση από τα νησιά μας τουριστών.
Άλλωστε η είσοδος των φαρμακοποιών του Νομού ως εκδοτών ψηφιακών πιστοποιητικών covid βάση αποτελεσμάτων των τεστ , μέσω ανταγωνισμού αλλά και γεωγραφικής διασποράς των φαρμακείων στα νησιά μόνο θετική επίπτωση για τη διευκόλυνση των τουριστών.
Για το λόγο αυτό θα επιδιώξω άμεσα να συναντήσω το Δ.Σ. του φαρμακευτικού Συλλόγου και να συμβάλω με τις δικές μου δυνάμεις και πρωτοβουλίες στον κοινό αγώνα για τη διασφάλιση της δημόσιας υγείας και την προστασία του τουριστικού ρεύματος.
Σε αυτό τον αγώνα με επίκεντρο την υγεία παλεύουμε είμαστε όλοι μαζί και όπως έλεγε ο αείμνηστος Σίμος Παρασκευάς «ο κάθε ένας παλεύει με το όπλο που έχει στα χέρια του». Οι γιατροί και οι φαρμακοποιοί έχουν την επιστήμη και το λειτούργημα τους, όλοι οι υπόλοιποι σε με τις ιδέες μας.
