Συγκίνηση αλλά και ενδιαφέρον προκάλεσε η υπόθεση λιποθυμίας της 9χρονης στη Ρόδο, η μητέρα της οποίας αντιμετώπισε το τελευταίο διάστημα μεγάλα οικονομικά προβλήματα.
Εποχικά εργαζόμενη στον τουρισμό, η μητέρα της 9χρονης είχε να εργαστεί από το περασμένο Φθινόπωρο, καθώς η σεζόν στη Ρόδο -με τα νέα δεδομένα- δεν έχει ξεκινήσει ακόμη. Οικογένεια μονογονεϊκή με δύο παιδιά, τα έφερνε εξαιρετικά δύσκολα πέρα, όπως και η ίδια περιέγραψε, με ένα νοίκι και τις υποχρεώσεις να τρέχουν, αλλά και δύο μικρά παιδιά με συνεχείς ανάγκες. Η ιστορία της ήρθε στο φως με τη λιποθυμία της 9χρονης κόρης της από την πείνα, ενώ περίμεναν μαζί στην ουρά έξω από φούρνο για να πάρουν ψωμί.
Το ζήτημα της εργασίας πάντως φαίνεται ότι λύθηκε καθώς και με παρέμβαση του ΓΓ Κοινωνικής Αλληλεγγύης Γιώργου Σταμάτη βρέθηκε εργασία στην μητέρα της 9χρονης και μάλιστα με τηλεργασία για να μπορεί να βρίσκεται στο πλευρό των δύο ανήλικων παιδιών της.
Η ιστορία της 9χρονης
Η μητέρα της 9χρονης που λιποθύμησε από την πείνα μέσα σε φούρνο στη Ρόδο μίλησε στην εκπομπή «Αλήθειες με τη Ζήνα» για την δεινή οικονομική κατάσταση στην οποία έχει περιέλθει αφού τους τελευταίους μήνες έχει έρθει αντιμέτωπη με την ανεργία.
«Η κόρη μου λιποθύμησε από την πείνα. Είμαι άνεργη εδώ και τόσους μήνες. Είμαι ξενοδοχοϋπάλληλος. Έχω να εργαστώ από πέρυσι τον Αύγουστο. Απολυθήκαμε, ήμασταν εποχικοί εργαζόμενοι», λέει και συμπληρώνει ότι εισόδημα στο σπίτι δεν μπαίνει.
«Δεν έχουμε να φάμε. Το παιδί πείναγε και εγώ δεν είχα. Θέλω να το πάω στο γιατρό απλά επειδή έγινε ντόρος αποφεύγω πάρα πολύ για το παιδί μου. Πρέπει να βοηθήσουν τους ανθρώπους που είναι άνεργοι αυτή τη στιγμή. Είμαστε άνεργοι».
«Είμαι μια εργαζόμενη μητέρα, διαζευγμένη. Δούλευα πέρυσι, έπαιρνα 1000 ευρώ, και μπορούσα και ζούσα τα παιδιά μου μια χαρά. Τα έβλεπα αυτά στην τηλεόραση και θλιβόμουν και να που έφτασα και εγώ σε αυτή την κατάσταση. Ο πατέρας δεν συμπαρίσταται. Το χειρότερο είναι να βλέπει η μάνα να πέφτει το παιδί της. Έχω να κοιμηθώ πέντε μέρες», τόνισε.
«Η κατάσταση είναι τραγική. Θέλω να κάνω μια ερώτηση στους 300. Αν μπορούν να ζήσουν με 168 ευρώ κάθε δύο μήνες. Μόνο αυτό θέλω να πω. Όλοι είναι βολεμένοι, είναι μια χαρά. Τα δικά τους παιδιά δεν πεινάνε. Του λαού πεινάνε. Και δεν είμαι η μοναδική» είπε ακόμη για να καταλήξει: «Λέω τι έκανα, έφερα στον κόσμο τα παιδιά για να πεινάνε; Το κοριτσάκι να μου ζητάει να φάει και να της λέω κάνε υπομονή να πάρω τα 533 ευρώ».
