H Ρόδος είναι για όλους τους επισκέπτες της ένας ξεχωριστός προορισμός,
αγαπούν το νησί από την πρώτη στιγμή που το αντικρύζουν, τους μαγεύει,
όπως αναφέρουν οι ίδιοι, η απαράμιλλη φυσική ομορφιά του νησιού, η ιστορία
και ο πολιτισμός που αποτυπώνεται σε κάθε γωνιά του, αλλά κυρίως η
ζεστασιά και η φιλοξενία των κατοίκων του. Γι’ αυτό και επιλέγουν να το
επισκέπτονται σε τακτά χρονικά διαστήματα ενώ πολλοί από αυτούς έχουν
αναπτύξει στενούς οικογενειακούς και φιλικούς δεσμούς με κατοίκους του
νησιού.
Η διαχρονική αυτή αγάπη των επισκεπτών για τη Ρόδο και η σαφής προτίμησή
τους στο νησί των Ιπποτών, επιβεβαιώθηκε για άλλη μία φορά κατά την
πρώτη, για φέτος, τελετή βράβευσης επαναλαμβανομένων τουριστών, που έχει
καθιερώσει επί σειρά ετών η Διεύθυνση Τουρισμού του Δήμου Ρόδου και η
οποία πραγματοποιήθηκε στα μέσα Απριλίου 2022, στο γραφείο του
εντεταλμένου συμβούλου Τουρισμού Αθανάσιου Βυρίνη.
Κατά την τελετή απονεμήθηκαν τιμητικές διακρίσεις σε τέσσερις επισκέπτες
από τη Δανία, που έρχονται στη Ρόδο περισσότερες από 30 φορές.
Ουσιαστικά πρόκειται για μέλη της ίδιας οικογένειας που ακολουθούν το
παράδειγμα της μητέρας και φίλης της Ρόδου της κας Jane Vincent Jensen
που λατρεύει το νησί, έχει έλθει στη Ρόδο 150 φορές τα τελευταία … 40 χρόνια
και έχει πολλούς φίλους Ροδίτες!
Βραβεύθηκαν λοιπόν από τον κ. Αθανάσιο Βυρίνη η κα Ulla Jensen, μητέρα
της κας Jane, οι δύο γυιοί της κύριοι Nicholas Vincent και Alexander Vincent
που διαμένουν στο ξενοδοχείο Amaryllis, καθώς και η φίλη της κα Birgitte
Rosenhoj που διαμένει στο ξενοδοχείο City Center.
Όλοι οι επισκέπτες ευχαρίστησαν τον εντεταλμένο σύμβουλο Τουρισμού για
την ζεστή υποδοχή και τη βράβευση τους, συζητώντας μαζί του πόσο αγαπούν
το νησί, ενώ ο κ. Βυρίνης απευθυνόμενος στους λάτρεις της Ρόδου τόνισε:
«Τιμάμε σήμερα όλους εσάς ως ελάχιστη ένδειξη, της χαράς που μας δίνετε να
επιλέγετε τη Ρόδο επί σειρά ετών για να περάσετε τις διακοπές σας. Είστε οι
καλύτεροι πρεσβευτές του νησιού στις χώρες σας και είμαστε σίγουροι ότι θα
σας βλέπουμε για πολλά χρόνια ακόμα».
Τα στελέχη της Διεύθυνσης Τουρισμού μοίρασαν στους επαναλαμβανόμενους
επισκέπτες πλούσιο ενημερωτικό υλικό της Διεύθυνσης Τουρισμού,
μελεκούνια καθώς και δώρα προσφορά της εταιρείας Natura Rodos και
προσκλήσεις από την εταιρεία “Throne of Helios” -9D Cinema.
