Σε δύο συλλήψεις προσώπων που σχετίζονται με τη δολοφονία του δημοσιογράφου Γιώργου Καραϊβάζ προχώρησε η αστυνομία.
Με ανάρτηση στα μέσα κοινωνικής δικτύωσης ο υπουργός Προστασίας του Πολίτη, κ. Τάκης Θεοδωρικάκος γνωστοποίησε πως η ΕΛ.ΑΣ προχώρησε σε δύο συλλήψεις για την υπόθεση της δολοφονίας του δημοσιογράφου, Γιώργου Καραϊβάζ.
Σύμφωνα με πληροφορίες της «Ζούγκλας» τα άτομα που συνελήφθησαν είναι αδέρφια.
Σύμφωνα με άλλες πληροφορίες, οι συλληφθέντες είναι πρόσωπα που είχαν περιφερειακό ρόλο στη δολοφονία- βοήθησαν τη διαφυγή των φυσικών αυτουργών του φόνου και είχαν πάρει μέρος στην κατόπτευση του τόπου του εγκλήματος την προηγούμενη μέρα της δολοφονίας.

«Είχαμε πει, από την πρώτη στιγμή, ότι θα κάνουμε τα πάντα για να εξιχνιαστεί η δολοφονία του Γιώργου Καραϊβάζ. Όσος χρόνος και αν χρειαστεί να περάσει. Πριν από λίγο η Ελληνική Αστυνομία συνέλαβε δύο πρόσωπα -για τα οποία εκδόθηκε ένταλμα σύλληψης- που εμπλέκονται στη δολοφονία του αδικοχαμένου δημοσιογράφου.
Οι έρευνες της ΕΛ.ΑΣ. επιταχύνθηκαν το τελευταίο χρονικό διάστημα και είχαν αποτέλεσμα, που οδηγεί στην εξιχνίαση άλλης μίας δολοφονίας. Όσοι χρησιμοποίησαν αυτή την τραγική υπόθεση, για να συκοφαντήσουν το Υπουργείο Προστασίας του Πολίτη, την Κυβέρνηση συνολικά και την Ελληνική Αστυνομία, οφείλουν μία συγγνώμη.
