Ταυτόχρονα, η πίεση που ασκήσαμε στον υπουργό Ναυτιλίας για το ζήτημα, ήταν μεγάλη
και ανάλογη του ζητήματος, αφού οι επιπτώσεις ήταν τεράστιες για την αγορά, τους
επιχειρηματίες και την κοινωνία των βόρειων νησιών μας.
Για όλους αυτούς τους λόγους, όλο αυτό το διάστημα, πράξαμε το καθήκον μας. Αδιάκοπα,
συντονισμένα, μέσα από άπειρα ταξίδια , συνεργασία, γρήγορα αντανακλαστικά και με
όλους τους τρόπους καταλήγοντας στην πλέον αποδεκτή λύση για όλα τα νησιά.
