Εντυπωσιακή και συγκινητική χαρακτηρίζουν σήμερα τα ΜΜΕ της Κω,
την παρουσία του κ. Παππά, στην πολιτική ομιλία που πραγματοποίησε
στον κινηματογράφο ΟΡΦΕΑΣ, με αθρόα προσέλευση κόσμου. Η
συγκέντρωση, είχε παλμό, είχε ενθουσιασμό, είχε μηνύματα ελπίδας.
Πολλοί και καλοί φίλοι, του Γιάννη Παππά, τον τίμησαν με την

δεσμούς με τους πολίτες της Κω, αφού σε κάθε σοβαρό ζήτημά του
νησιού τους, παρεμβαίνει με επιτυχία.
Οι αναφορές που έκανε, στα μεγάλα και επί δεκαετίες χρονίζοντα
προβλήματα, ήταν σαφείς και συγκεκριμένες: Νέο Νοσοκομείο,
Δικαστικό Μέγαρο και άλλα θέματα προτεραιότητας.
Οι Κώες, άκουσαν με ενθουσιασμό τον κ. Παππά, να τους υπενθυμίζει,
την δια στόματος Πρωθυπουργού Κυριάκου Μητσοτάκη εξαγγελία, για
κατασκευή Νέου Νοσοκομείου. Έργο το οποίο, τίθεται πλέον στα
ζητήματα προτεραιότητας, αφού αναμένεται να ενταχθεί και να
χρηματοδοτηθεί από το Ταμείο Ανάκαμψης, δίνοντας τέλος στη μέχρι
τώρα «πάσχουσα» υγεία στο νησί της Κω.
Σε ό,τι αφορά στο έργο του Δικαστικού Μεγάρου, επίσης με
παρέμβαση του κ. Παππά, επισήμως παίρνει τον δρόμο της
υλοποίησης, ικανοποιώντας έτσι, το επίσης χρόνιο αίτημα του νομικού
κόσμου και των νησιωτών του βορείου συγκροτήματος της
Δωδεκανήσου.
Το σημαντικότερο από όλα αυτά, είναι, η εκτίμηση και η εμπιστοσύνη
που δείχνουν οι νησιώτες στο πρόσωπο του Γιάννη Παππά, καθώς η
σχέση αυτή, έχει δοκιμαστεί διαχρονικά με επιτυχία.
Στο τέλος, με την ευκαιρία της Ημέρας της Μητέρας, οι συνεργάτιδες
του κ. Παππά, χάρισαν στις παρευρισκόμενες γυναίκες γλαστράκια με
βασιλικό, σύμβολο της αγάπης και της προστασίας.
