Έξι λεπτά αργότερα, μετά από ωραία ατομική ενέργεια και γύρισμα του Νοικοκυράκη, ο Σουμπασάκης έκανε το πλασέ από την μικρή περιοχή αλλά ο Θεοδωράκης κράτησε το μηδέν για την εστία του καθώς πραγματοποίησε μεγάλη επέμβαση. Η Ρόδος από την πλευρά της απείλησε πρώτη φορά στο 14ο λεπτό της αναμέτρησης όταν μακρινό σουτ του Νικολόπουλου πέρασε άουτ.
Δυο λεπτά αργότερα και πάλι ο ίδιος παίκτης έκανε το σουτ η μπάλα θα κοντράρει στα πόδια του Γκονζάλβες και θα καταλήξει στην αγκαλιά του Καλογεράκη.
Στο 29ο λεπτό ωραία ενέργεια από τον Σταματελόπουλο, ο οποίος πάτησε περιοχή, έπεσε μετά από την πίεση του Μπαρμπόσα, με τους γηπεδούχους να ζητούν πέναλτι, ενώ στη συνέχεια της φάσης ο Δελαπόρτας με αδύναμο πλασέ έστειλε τη μπάλα στο κέντρο της εστίας, όπου μπλόκαρε ο Καλογεράκης.
H Ρόδος είχε την ευκαιρία να ανοίξει το σκορ στο 45ο λεπτό όταν μετά από κάθετη του Δελαπόρτα στον Σταματελόπουλο, εκείνος βρέθηκε απέναντι από τον Καλογεράκη, ωστόσο πριν προλάβει να πλασάρει κόπηκε από το τάκλιν του Γκονζάλβες που ακολούθησε τη φάση. Οι άνθρωποι της Ρόδου διαμαρτυρήθηκαν και για αυτή τη φάση για πέναλτι θεωρώντας αντικανονικό το μαρκάρισμα.
Στο 56ο λεπτό του αγώνα ο Βουργουτζής έκανε την σέντρα αλλά δεν πρόλαβε στο δεύτερο δοκάρι ο Σταματελόπουλος. Πέντε λεπτά αργότερα η Επισκοπή βρέθηκε κοντά στο 0-1 αλλά το πλασέ του Νοικοκυράκη, το έδιωξε σε κόρνερ με τα πόδια ο Θεοδωράκης. Στα εναπομείναντα λεπτά δεν άλλαξε κάτι και έτσι οι δυο ομάδες μοιράστηκαν τους βαθμούς.
