Ο αντιδήμαρχος Οικονομικών- Προσόδων και Ενεργειακών Επενδύσεων
Τηλέμαχος Καμπούρης με αφορμή την εμπλοκή του ονόματός του σε απάτη
με δήθεν αγορά τροφίμων για άπορους, προέβη στην ακόλουθη δήλωση:
«Δηλώνω με τον πιο κατηγορηματικό τρόπο, ότι ουδεμία σχέση έχω είτε ως
Αντιδήμαρχος Οικονομικών του Δήμου Ρόδου, είτε ως ιδιώτης, με τις
ενέργειες απατεώνων που παραπλανούν επιχειρηματίες και πολίτες,
παριστάνοντας εμένα. Σε οποιαδήποτε απόπειρα τρίτων να σας παρασύρουν
σε αδιαφανείς και παράνομες συναλλαγές, παρακαλώ να γνωρίζετε ότι ο
Δήμος συναλλάσσεται μέσω των υπηρεσιών του και με συγκεκριμένες
γραπτές και σύννομες διαδικασίες. Ποτέ μην καταθέτετε χρήματα σε κανένα
λογαριασμό με ένα απλό τηλεφώνημα, απ’ όπου κι αν προέρχεται.
Η συγκεκριμένη μορφή απάτης, δυστυχώς έχει επεκταθεί και σε άλλους
δήμους της χώρας, στοχοποιώντας αιρετά πρόσωπα.
Παροτρύνω και κάθε συμπολίτη που ενδεχομένως έλαβε παραπλανητικό
τηλεφώνημα δήθεν από εμένα αλλά αντιλήφθηκε την απάτη, να το καταθέσει,
βοηθώντας τις αρχές.»
