Το άρθρο απευθύνεται σε όσους γνωρίζουν ποδόσφαιρο. Οι υπόλοιποι ας βγάλουν ανακοίνωση.
Τους πρώτους της βαθμούς έχασε η Ρόδος στο Δημοτικό στάδιο απέναντι στα δεύτερα του Παναθηναϊκού. Ένα παιχνίδι για τα ελάφια το πρώτο μέσα στο 22 και μετά από ένα μήνα απραξίας. Αυτό φαίνεται να ήταν ανασταλτικός παράγοντας για την ομάδα του Αντωνίου που έδειξαν να βρίσκονται έξω από τα νερά τους. Ίσως και ο κόβιντ που ταλαιπώρησε αρκετούς παίκτες τις προηγούμενες εβδομάδες να έπαιξε και αυτός τον ρόλο του. Η κούραση που έδειξαν οι ροδίτες ιδιαίτερα μετά το 60΄ φαινόταν δια γυμνού οφθαλμού.
Χωρίς φαντασία στην επίθεση , με λιγοστές έως ελάχιστες ευκαιρίες έδειχναν ότι και ο βαθμός στο τελικό σφύριγμα ήταν ικανοποιητικός. Μπορεί ο αγωνιστικός χώρος του δημοτικού σταδίου να είχε τα χάλια του ωστόσο και οι αντίπαλοι στο ίδιο τερέν έπαιζαν.
Ο Σωτήρης Αντωνίου επέλεξε να ξεκινήσει το παιχνίδι με τον Θεοδωράκη κάτω από τα γκολποστ- πραγματικά εξαιρετικός- δεξιά τον Μαρκόφσκι , αριστερά τον Μαρτσάκη , στο κέντρο της άμυνας τους Σάαντο, Καψάλης , στα χαφ τον Μάρκοβιτς και Τσαβες αμυντικά χαφ στο κέντρο τον Μίγγο και Αδαμάκη έχοντας δίπλα τους Σταματελόπουλο και Παπάζογλου στην κορυφή.
Με βάση το υπάρχον ροστερ , έχει μια λογική ωστόσο η επιλογή του Μαρτσάκη στην αριστερή αμυντική πλευρά ήταν μια έμπνευση με τον Μαρκόφσκι στα δεξιά. Ο τραυματισμός του έφερε τον Καραγιώργη να χρησιμοποιείται στην θέση του . Όπως έδειξε η διάταξη αυτή άφηνε πολλούς ανοικτούς διαδρόμους προς την εστία του Θεοδωράκη ο οποίος πραγματικά όποτε χρειάστηκε ήταν και πάλι κέρβερος και έδειξε ότι δίκαια βγάζει το ψωμί του στην Ρόδο. Τα ελάφια για μια ακόμη αγωνιστική έδειξαν ότι το πρόβλημα στον άξονα και στην μεσαία γραμμή είναι ολοφάνερο. Ο Παπάζογλου για να μπορέσει να πετύχει το στόχο του που δεν είναι άλλος από την επίτευξη του γκολ πρέπει να πάρει την μπάλα. Κάποιος να του την δώσει . Και δυστυχώς αυτός ο παίκτης δεν υπήρχε στο παιχνίδι. Ακόμα και οι περιβόητες πλαγιοκοπήσεις δεν έγιναν ποτέ που σημαίνει ότι τα μπακ δεν έβγαιναν γιατί απλά δεν μπορούσαν . Όχι ότι δεν ήθελαν αλλά δεν…..
Στην θέση του αμυντικού χαφ σουλουπώθηκαν κάπως τα πράγματα με την είσοδο του Χιούσι αλλά και πάλι ο Παναθηναϊκός έβρισκε διαδρόμους είχε και δοκάρι. Πάντως μια λαμπάδα πρέπει να ανάψουν στο μπόι του Θεοδωράκη , ειδικά στην φάση του 84΄όταν ο τερματοφύλακας της Ρόδου κέρδισε τον Κρυπαράκο.
Παίζει το κεφάλι του ο Αντωνίου με Καλλιθέα
Την Τετάρτη η Ρόδος σε εξ ‘ αναβολής παιχνίδι θα υποδεχτεί την Καλλιθέα η οποία έρχεται από νίκη απέναντι στον Διαγόρα . Οι πράσινοι καλούνται για πολλούς λόγους να βρουν το πολύτιμο τρίποντο . Ο πρώτος λόγος είναι ότι θέλουν να ανέβουν στην βαθμολογία, ο δεύτερος λόγος είναι να διώξουν το άγχος που έρχεται από πίσω μιας και αν δείτε την βαθμολογία ( γραμμή παραμονής είναι στους 13 η Ρόδος έχει 16) πλέον η Ρόδος αρχίζει να κινδυνεύει. Βέβαια έχει παιχνίδια λιγότερα, αλλά όπως είδαμε αν δεν βάλεις το γκολ τότε δεν παίρνεις και βαθμούς και τρίτος λόγος είναι η περίπτωση αφαίρεσης βαθμών -6 από πέρσι οπότε αν βγει μια τέτοια απόφαση να μην μπει σε περιπέτειες.
Έτσι ο Αντωνίου αναγκαστικά θα έχει το περισσότερο άγχος από όλους, μιας και η ιδιοσυγκρασία του μεγαλομετόχου δεν αφήνει περιθώρια αν τυχόν δεν έλθει το νικηφόρο αποτέλεσμα και ελπίζουμε σε καμία περίπτωση να μην συμβεί αυτό , να κρατήσει τον προπονητή στον πάγκο. Μακάρι να μην συμβεί τίποτα από τα παραπάνω αλλά όταν μια ομάδα δεν κερδίζει συνήθως αυτός που την πατάει είναι ο προπονητής. Την Τετάρτη είναι τελικός και η Ρόδος καλείται να τον κερδίσει.
